What we store
Job Application Autofill stores the profile, resume text, answer-bank entries, and
settings that you choose to provide. This data is stored locally in your browser using
chrome.storage.local — we do not operate a server that receives or stores
your extension data.
How the extension reads pages
The extension reads labels and fields on job application pages only to identify fields and provide the autofill feature you request. It does not submit job applications on your behalf — every filled field is left for you to review before you submit.
Optional AI features
Optional AI features are available only when you enter your own Gemini API key and choose an AI action. For those actions, the relevant resume text, saved profile information, answer-bank entries, and form-field context may be sent directly from the extension to Google's Gemini API to generate the requested result. Your API key is stored locally in your browser and is used only to make those direct requests.
What we don't do
We do not sell personal data, use it for advertising, or share it with third parties except Google when you explicitly use an optional Gemini-powered feature. We do not use your data to determine creditworthiness or for lending purposes.
Your controls
You can delete locally stored data at any time from the extension's Options page, or by removing the extension from Chrome.
